PermaStripe Overview
PermaStripe is the worlds most effective, durable line marking system and can be used for warehouse walkway markings as an alternative to painted lines or resin. With PermaStripe industrial marking tape, you can create clearly defined routes for employees to perform duties and guests to pass through work areas safely and effectively.
Benefits
It’s an industrial-grade line marking tape, with a thickness of 1300mu. Its homogenous construction means that any scrapes won’t affect the colour marking, as it is present throughout the material.
Made of a durable PVC with an embossed surface and bevelled edges, PermaStripe line marking tape is easily applied to a clean, dry surface using it’s strong, permanent adhesive which coats the base from edge to edge.
Application
Installation for the whole PermaStrip line marking tape range is easy. Simply peel back the backing liner and stick down to a clean, dry surface. No detailed preparation beyond cleaning and drying the surface is required and once the application is complete, the area is ready immediately. This results in minimal downtimes, which is crucial for the workplace.
When you use PermaStripe for warehouse walkway markings, you are creating an optimised facility, allowing duties to be performed more efficiently than previous. Our PermaStripe colour range allows you to create a fully optimised, 5S floor plan.
PermaStripe Sizes
PermaStripe industrial marking tape available for immediate dispatch in 50mm, 75mm and 100mm in width and 30m in length as well as various die-cut shapes in various colours.
Glow in the Dark PermaStripe is available in 75mm and 100mm rolls.
The maximum width of PermaStripe can be supplied in 1260mm.
Die-Cuts
We have various PermaStripe die-cut shapes in many sizes available for immediate dispatch. Shapes that help you to create a custom floor marking system to achieve 5S optimisation. Our fleet of in-house production machines ensures stock is always available.
Previous to the PermaStripe system, when creating custom floor tape, the neat joins were only achievable via squared-off edges by either lining the tape up, or the better, but more risky method of cutting the PermaStripe at various angles where a slip could mean an injury. We now have PermaStripe available for immediate dispatch in various shapes and colours, allowing you to create a custom floor marking tape system in the shortest time possible.
Removing PermaStripe
Removal is possible, and due to the thickness and extreme strength of PermaStripe, it will not snap when removed. This allows for easy 5S changes in the workplace, unlike resin or painted lines.
PermaStripe 3 Year Warranty
The Heskins warranty for PermaStripe line marking tape is conditionally warranted for 3 years from product purchase. Warranty claims are only limited to the replacement of PermaStripe. The warranty does not cover items being dragged, pushed or scraped across such as pallets or transit skids.

What is PermaStripe H6901 floor marking tape?
PermaStripe H6901 is a heavy-duty industrial floor marking tape designed for warehouses, factories and other busy workplaces. Its durable PVC construction, embossed surface and bevelled edges make it suitable for creating aisles, pedestrian walkways, storage bays, work zones and other safety floor markings.
Is PermaStripe suitable for warehouse and factory floors?
Yes. PermaStripe is designed for industrial warehouse and factory floor marking. It can be used to define pedestrian walkways, aisleways, production zones, storage areas and vehicle routes.
The tape is applied directly to a clean, dry floor and requires no curing or drying time, helping minimise disruption during installation.
Can PermaStripe withstand forklift traffic?
Yes. PermaStripe is designed for busy industrial floors exposed to heavy pedestrian and wheeled traffic, including forklift routes.
For the best service life, pallets, transit skids and other heavy objects should not be dragged, pushed or scraped across the tape, as this can damage the material and is excluded from the product warranty.
What makes H6901 a heavy-duty floor marking tape?
H6901 is manufactured from homogeneous PVC and is approximately 1,300 microns, or 1.3mm, thick. Because the colour runs throughout the material, surface scrapes do not immediately expose a differently coloured backing layer.
Its embossed surface, strong permanent adhesive and bevelled edges provide a durable industrial floor marking solution for demanding environments.
Will PermaStripe stick to concrete floors?
PermaStripe can be applied to properly prepared concrete floors. The surface should be sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and loose material to allow the adhesive to make effective contact.
Very rough, porous or powdery concrete should be tested with a sample before completing a large floor marking installation.
How do you install PermaStripe floor tape?
Clean and dry the floor thoroughly before installation. Position the floor tape, peel back part of the release liner and press the adhesive side firmly onto the surface. Continue removing the liner gradually while applying consistent pressure across the full width.
PermaStripe requires no curing or drying time, so the marked area can return to use immediately after installation.
Do I need a floor tape applicator?
No. PermaStripe can be installed manually, so a floor tape applicator is not essential.
For long warehouse aisles, factory floors or large 5S floor marking projects, an applicator can make installation quicker and help produce straighter, more consistent lines.
Is floor marking tape better than floor paint?
Floor marking tape can be a better option when fast installation, minimal downtime and future layout changes are important. PermaStripe does not require the drying or curing time associated with many floor paints, allowing areas to return to use immediately.
It can also be removed when warehouse or production layouts change, making it a flexible alternative to permanent painted or resin floor markings.
What sizes and colours is PermaStripe H6901 available in?
PermaStripe H6901 is available in standard 50mm, 75mm and 100mm widths, with a roll length of 30 metres. Wider material can also be produced for specialist applications.

How long does PermaStripe floor marking tape last?
The service life of PermaStripe depends on floor preparation, traffic levels, cleaning methods and how the marked area is used.
PermaStripe H6901 is supplied with a conditional three-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers replacement of the product but excludes damage caused by pallets, transit skids or other objects being dragged, pushed or scraped across the tape.
